Off to the beach...

When I was younger one of my favourite things to do was go to the beach. Now that I am older it is still fun to do. Thanks to Partymart.com I have access to tons of cool things to help make a beach party more fun. If you and your friends / family ever plan to have a big beach party why not pick up some beach themed items to help make it easier?

I personally recommend an inflatable cooler for drinks for starters. Then go ahead and get some palm tree cups or coconut cups. If your party is during the day you might want to get some sunglasses and hats. I recommend getting the fun in the sun hat myself as well as the martini sunglasses.

I’ve recently come down with a case of the St. Patty’s Day fever, and I’ve got it bad. The anticipation is almost too much, the dreams of leprechauns and green colored beer have given me the signal that what could be considered the greatest day of the year is fast approaching.

Read Across America - March 2

Read Across America, the nationwide celebration of reading takes place each year on or around March 2nd, the birthday of much-loved children’s author Dr. Seuss.

The good doctor’s most prized creation, The Cat in the Hat, has become a prominent symbol of Read Across America.

This mischievous trouble maker has for many years captured the imaginations of children around the world. And to this day, Dr. Seuss's Cat in the Hat continues to be a force in children’s literature, creating an infatuation with reading as well as his iconic red and white stovepipe hat.

Read Across America encourages us to keep in mind that we should never be too busy to pick up a book and read to our kids or even for the sheer joy of reading for ourselves. This March 2nd please keep that in mind and encourage someone you know to do the same.

A Different Kind of Dance Floor...

When I was being told about a recent family party I heard about a really cool idea that had never occurred to me. The dj company that did this party created a dance floor out of bubble wrap. Now I know what you're thinking, how is this possible?

Well I’ll be honest, I do not know but the thought of it is making me curious.

All you really need for this is a big dance floor and a lot of bubble wrap. Cover the floor as completely as you want and just get everyone interested in trying it to take off their shoes. Once done get everyone jumping around to the music.

Just a warning but this will cause A LOT of noise most likely, especially if you have a big group.
